Independent Living Alliance provides Supported Housing in a range of types and sizes - from single person accommodation to shared housing for between two and six people - to meet different personal preferences and needs. Wherever you live, you will have a tenancy agreement that explains your rights and responsibilities.
Our supported accommodation services are often chosen by people who have been in hospital or other formal setting and who want the security of having access to support staff for up to 24 hours a day as well as (in the case of shared services) the chance to live with a peer group. All accommodation is close to public transport, shops, healthcare services and educational and leisure facilities. Some people will choose to stay long-term in supported accommodation and achieve greater independence while there. Others will go on to leave services altogether, becoming fully independent, or they may move to their own accommodation and choose to receive home support. |
